Developing my film into a mural or poster.

So here’s what I created for the murals and posters. I took a direct shot from the film and overlaid the credits underneath, keeping the design simple and minimal. My goal was to create something that complemented the film without drawing too much attention away from it. Since this was just an advertisement and an additional element of my project, I didn’t want it to feel like a separate piece or overshadow the main focus the film itself. However, I found it really interesting to see how the imagery and typography functioned in a different context, outside of the moving image.

If I had more time, I would have refined the layout and explored different compositions to make it feel more polished. That being said, given the limited time I had, I think this was an interesting experiment. It ended up resembling a film poster in a way, which wasn’t my original intention, but it was exciting to see how the aesthetic translated to a static format. Ultimately, though, I feel my project works much better as a film. I’m especially excited to see how it looks when displayed on the ferry screens, as I think it will be much more immersive and impactful in that environment compared to a still poster.
