Create a message in response to what makes this particular area unique the format for this outcome is entirely up to you. It might be a piece of information design a short film a booklet for visitors or a piece of advertising.
Plan your time carefully and make sure that you give yourself plenty of opportunity to engage in primary research and explore your chosen location in person. Think about the methods that you might adopt to investigate this place and make sure that you have the means to conduct the research thoroughly before you begin to craft your final designs.
Ideas.
Quite like the idea of making a piece of videography on the area that I choose I think this is something that I’ve never experimented with before and it could be really enjoyable. it would also give me a chance to create a short film of some that I love that I could keep for years to come and look back on which is a really nice idea.
As far as my area my initial idea was to choose my beach down the road from my house as that’s where I spend a lot of time and it’s a place that unique to me. But there is another place just slightly further from my house about an eight minute drive just off military Road that I call Cliff edge and this is my favourite place in the whole of the island. It’s where I’ve spent a lot of time during lockdown a few years ago cycling and running and they also have a beach there too. I also work in a café on the Cliff edge so I drive there most mornings but I never get to spend much time down on the sea or looking at the views so this will give me an opportunity to spend more time in a place I enjoy.
