Contemporary Practice Submission Week.

So we finally made it to the final week of contemporary practice and my first real submission for my masters. This project has been very enjoyable but also massive learning curve and I open out what I can expect throughout the rest of the course I finally finished my PDF this week with a small adjustments to be made. I’ve uploaded all my video footage and I’m pretty much ready to submit.

Reflecting on these projects I’ve seen a clear progression in my approach to design. I’ve learned the importance of balancing creativity with personal constraints and I’m excited to continue finding my skills moving forward each project change me in different ways but ultimately they’ve all contributed to my development as a designer Although there was one project that I felt sat with me the most and that was project to process this project reflected who I am as a designer and I would like to try this style of designer again in some of my future projects.

What's Next?

So moving forward, I’ve sent my completed PDF to my lecture in the hopes that he’ll have time to have a quick lunch over before my submission and just make sure there’s no major mistakes and in the meantime while waiting on his response I’m going to go through my reading list for this week and watch through my lectures.

My week 11 tasks is to focus on trends and environments as well as ways to light up a message through symbolism which is something I did study in my project. My lectures are going to explore the nations of symbolism as well as the con construction of contemporary media in design practice.
