Reflecting on my week

This week, I shifted my focus towards research and early experimentation, taking a more hands-on approach. Rather than just gathering information, I explored practical ways to apply my ideas, allowing my research to guide my creative process in a new direction.

At the end of the week, my tutor provided feedback that made me reconsider my word selection. While I had incorporated more obvious choices as suggested, I now realize I didn’t need to completely replace my original list. A more balanced combination of both would have been a better approach. Despite this, I still feel confident that animation is the right direction for me. However, I recognize the need to simplify my work. Moving forward, I plan to complete my current animation experiment before reassessing how I can refine and streamline my ideas.

Goals for Next Week

• Finalize my experimental animation and then reflect on ways to simplify my approach.
• Revisit my strengths and weaknesses list one last time, creating a more flexible version that includes both obvious and unexpected words.
• Continue researching, even when it feels like I’ve done enough—ongoing discovery can still shape my work in meaningful ways.
• Push my ideas further by experimenting as much as possible.
