For my main body text, I’ve chosen DM Sans. It’s a clean, geometric sans-serif font that offers excellent clarity and precision. One of the main reasons for selecting DM Sans is its readability at smaller sizes, the letterforms remain crisp and legible even when scaled down. Importantly, it has clearly differentiated letterforms, particularly between commonly confused characters such as d, p, b, and q, which makes it a more accessible choice for dyslexic readers.
For my main titles, I’ve decided to use Playfair Display in uppercase. My research suggested that setting titles in all caps can help distinguish them more clearly from body text, creating a strong visual hierarchy that supports readability. Playfair Display was chosen because it balances elegance and readability, offering high stroke contrast and distinct serifs. It brings a sense of design character and sophistication to the page while remaining accessible.
