This week’s lecture was our first group crit, and I used the session to both observe others' work and reflect on my own progress. On the first page of my notes, I jotted down feedback and ideas from other students' presentations, some of which I think could be really valuable to apply to my own project. It was helpful to see how different people are approaching their concepts, especially in terms of visual style, audience clarity, and tone of communication.
On the second page, I recorded the feedback I received directly from my lecturer, just before the crit. It gave me a fresh perspective on how my work is being read and where I can make improvements. The feedback this week was particularly useful, constructive, encouraging, and full of actionable suggestions.
To keep myself on track, I’m going to turn these insights into a to-do list underneath my notes. My aim is to work through it steadily over this week and next, so I can refine both the concept and execution of NeuroRoutes with a clearer sense of purpose.
