Naming CozyCarry.

When I began designing my multifunctional travel blanket, I knew I wanted the name to feel as warm and familiar as the product itself. The blanket was designed for 20–25-year-old UK backpackers, people constantly on the move, but still craving small reminders of home. It can be used as a towel, pillow, privacy curtain, or beach mat, so the name needed to capture comfort, versatility, and travel all in one.

I started by exploring words linked to warmth and mobility: “snug,” “carry,” “trail,” and “nest.” I wanted something easy to say, friendly, and memorable, the kind of name you could imagine stitched onto a tag or used in a conversation. After several rounds of brainstorming, CozyCarry stood out. It was simple, rhythmic, and immediately told you what the product does: it’s a comforting item that travels with you.

Once the name was decided, I focused on finding a strapline that supported the brand’s tone. I tested phrases that mixed emotional and practical language, from “Comfort that travels with you” to “Your comfort, packed and ready.” The one that stuck was “Home comfort, world ready.” It balanced warmth and wanderlust, perfectly expressing the blanket’s purpose: a small piece of home that fits into any adventure.

The final combination felt true to both the product and its audience. CozyCarry isn’t just a travel blanket, it’s a reminder that even when you’re halfway around the world, comfort can still come with you.
