Reflection on Design Process

This project has been an opportunity to explore how design can respond to emotional as well as functional needs. Developing CozyCarry helped me clarify my own design values, inclusivity, adaptability, transparency, collaboration, and abstract thinking, and see how they can be applied in practice. The process taught me that even small design decisions, such as colour or material choice, can strongly influence how users feel about a product.

Although I began with a very different concept, refining my ideas through research and self-reflection led to a more focused and meaningful outcome. I learned the importance of staying open to change, trusting my instincts, and allowing personal experience to inform design decisions. CozyCarry ultimately represents the balance between practicality and emotional connection, a product shaped by my values and by the idea that comfort and identity can travel with us.
