Weekly Creative Progress and Reflection
This week, my creative progress focused on developing CozyCarry’s visual identity and overall design. I created the key images for the product, exploring compositions, color palettes, and textures to convey both comfort and practicality. These visuals were informed by my earlier research into user-centered design and emotional appeal.
I also worked out the name and strapline, ensuring they reflect the product’s purpose and brand personality. This process involved testing different options to find wording that feels approachable, memorable, and communicates the balance between functionality and coziness.
Critically reflecting on my work, I noticed that some images initially lacked focus or coherence, so I refined layouts to highlight the product more clearly. Feedback from peers and tutors emphasized the importance of visual clarity and alignment between imagery and brand identity, which guided my adjustments.
Overall, this week’s efforts in image creation, naming, and strapline development have strengthened CozyCarry’s visual and verbal identity. Moving forward, I will refine these elements further and integrate them into a cohesive poster that communicates comfort, usability, and the brand’s personality.
